Myth Busting

 I’m willing to bet that at one point in time, now included, you believe(d) at least one of the following: George Washington had wooden teeth. Bats are blind. Gum takes seven years to digest. If you drop a penny from the Empire State Building, it can kill someone. You can catch warts from touching a toad.  Henry Ford invented the automobile. The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4th, 1776. You should wait a half hour after eating before you go swimming. Irregardless is a word. Common myths float around disguised as common knowledge and most folks are none the wiser. In the grand scheme of things, it makes no difference what you believe George Washington’s dentures were made of. However, what you choose to believe about your small business insurance may make or break your business; you won’t get a pass for being blind as a bat when it comes to the truth.
